Since 1974 Bananas At Large has specialized in equipment that is used in the production of music, audio and video. Starting from our origins, we’re a complete Fretted Instrument Shop, with a wide selection of electric guitars and basses, acoustic guitars, banjos, resonators, mandolins and more. We’re also noted as one of the leading outlets for Keyboard and Recording equipment on the West Coast, with nearly every major product line represented (and quite a few esoteric ones as well.) We’ve established a fully-stocked Drum and Percussion department.

Our retail store also offers a wide range of used instruments and audio equipment as well as consignments, along with a full Rental Department for sound systems, amps, keyboards and related gear. While “big chain” stores are dropping lines and restricting choices, we’ve expanded our brands and models. We help you find an original voice instead of selling you the same old stuff!
